In this last 7 days, the eggs have all hatched. The first on Easter Sunday, then the next on Wednesday, then the last today, Sunday April 16, 2023. So they are about 3-4 days apart which is really a lot when you look at them. Even the one she punctured hatched successfully, thank goodness.
Some interesting things to note this week are the variety of food items they are stockpiling in the nest. Mama Hoo herself brought back a vole and a meadowlark and Papa Hoo brought her a gopher. The two latter are still tenderizing. Until next week…
