Friends wanted to see Hole in the Rock, so we took them to Papago Park near the Zoo.

We walked around the back and had no trouble getting into the hole.

That chopper wasn’t for us. We took lots of water – we didn’t want to be on the news.

We stopped at the amphitheater half way around the Double Butte Loop. Some of the crew stayed on the low road.

Getting some extra flights in.

The shady side of the butte was cooler.

It felt good to get back into the sunshine.

We finished up the 3 mile hike around the smaller butte. Thanks to the “crew” for a great hike today!
